Another humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan has been delivered to Ukraine

In response to the request by Ukraine, a humanitarian convoy with electrical equipment to restore stable electricity supply to the victims in connection with the situation in the districts arrived from Azerbaijan.

According to AZERTAC, a ceremony was held to hand over humanitarian aid. The event was attended by the advisor of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine Sabir Rzaev, representative of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Petro Lutsiv, representatives of mass media.

Speaking at the event, Sabir Rzayev said that according to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev of July 17, 2023, the humanitarian cargo supplied by the Ministry of Energy includes more than 555,000 meters of electrical cables and wires. Humanitarian cargo in a convoy of 14 trucks was sent to support the restoration of stable electricity supply in the affected areas of Ukraine.

Petro Lutsiv, who expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for another help, noted that today they again purchased cable products from friendly Azerbaijan.

"We are extremely grateful to our colleagues from Azerbaijan and the entire Azerbaijani people for their invaluable help in continuing our struggle and overcoming enemy aggression on the territory of Ukraine. We highly appreciate the support provided to Ukraine at such a difficult time for us," added Petro Lutsiv.

We will remind you that earlier our country sent humanitarian aid with electrical equipment to Ukraine. The total amount of humanitarian aid, including support for recovery and reconstruction, provided by the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine in connection with the crisis is more than 33 million US dollars.

154 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost relatives were brought to our country for medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation as part of humanitarian aid measures. The humanitarian lyceum "Linguist" named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva which was badly affected by the military operations totally renovated by Azerbaijan.
